Captain William Spry Community Centre Recreation Needs Assessment

Project background:

The Halifax Regional Municipality is conducting a recreation needs assessment for the community of Spryfield. This assessment will explore viable options to revitalize the Captain William Spry Community Centre in future years. We are requesting public feedback to better understand the satisfaction rates with the existing design, layout and amenities of the centre. This feedback will guide what renovations, additions or amenities should be investigated if the revitalization plan is approved.

This assessment aims to understand the community's diverse recreation needs, priorities and identify potential gaps in recreation programming. We hope to receive public feedback from:

• those who currently use the centre
• those who may use the centre in the future
• those who reside in the service area of the Captain William Spry Community Centre

This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey for this project closes on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
